July 15-19 for Ages 7-9 NEW PROGRAM
Register here!
Developmentally,
this age group still thrives on imitation and play but
campers at this stage are ready for extra physical and creative
challenges. Crafts,
lots of time for free play, quiet reading and resting, singing time,
and of
course healthy snacks and lunches brought from home make up the Junior
Camp
days.
Circus
skills taught in this age group includes increased challenge in
most or all of the following: obstacle courses; feather balancing;
plate
spinning; devil sticks; diabolos; ribbon twirling; fun with scarves and
bean
bags; hula hoops; tightwire walking; rolling globe; and one day of
unicycling!
Tricks and stunts known as “Specials” are loved by this age
group.
On Fridays, Junior Camp ends with a “Share” (rather than a “Show”) for families and friends, followed by those famous SLCC popsicles!
